Elvin Fu is a diligent and well-rounded student with a deep-rooted love of interdisciplinary learning, music, and the environment.

He is deeply introspective, often (over)-stressing himself over every small, medium and big thing, leading to compounding stressing. Perhaps it is his meticulousness to details and his ambitions for perfection, and he is learning to better channel his energy and strength to meet with both short-term and long-term goals.

Previously, he has been engaged in a plethora of diverse pursuits such as fundraising for music education in rural China. His passions for science and exploration are also exemplified by his ongoing research project on applying mathematical modeling to environmental factors and his leadership in his initiative to help Afghan refugees. When and where he can, he continues to encourage and empower teen-led ideation towards intergenerational impact through innovation and entrepreneurship.

In the future, Elvin aspires to further enhance the scope and depth of his projects by working with his peers and striving to bring a teenager’s perspective to global challenges.
